Job Description:

As a Software Developer you will work directly with senior developers and collaborate with team members to build new products and features. Our team of veteran engineers will provide mentorship to help you grow in your capabilities as a software developer. As part of a small but growing startup you will be able to contribute to major work on critical components. At Abaca, you will spend most of your time working on new development projects or improvements to Abaca’s offering and user experience. You will work on cloud based financial compliance and online banking technology that is responsible for the management of billions of dollars in regulatorily compliant deposits and payments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build new financial technology products for an emerging industry
  • Collaborate with program manager, lead developer, and product managers to plan and deliver development projects
  • Contribute to design, requirements development and provide effort estimates for development project planning
  • Troubleshoot and follow up on service or technical requests and tickets

Job Requirements:

  • 2-7 years of software development experience (required)
  • C# .NET (required)
  • JavaScript/Typescript (required)
  • SQL Server (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) (required)
  • Angular 2+ (preferred)
  • Undergraduate degree/Computer Science (preferred)
